Student Programs & Internships
ATI offers programs specially designed for PT students and recent graduates: Student Observation Program, Student Internship Program, Clinical Rotation Program, Residency/Fellowship and ATI Pathways Program for New Graduates.
Clinical Rotation Program
ATI Physical Therapy’s Clinical Rotation Program is designed for college students pursuing degrees in Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy Assistant or Athletic Training who are required to gain hands-on experience within a clinical setting as part of their practical, in-clinic academic requirements.
All Clinical Rotation Program placement requests must be submitted by a faculty member from the student’s college or university. Successful completion of the Clinical Rotation program often serves as a stepping stone into the ATI Pathways Program for New Graduates.
Student Observation Program
The Student Observation Program provides individual undergraduate students or applicants seeking to get into PT school an opportunity to observe physical therapy in a clinical setting for a maximum of 80 hours within a 90-day period.
Eligible students must present documentation to demonstrate an educational interest in one of the following roles: Physical Therapist, Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapy Assistant or Athletic Trainer.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Students are often asked to complete an internship in a related profession to their field of study. This program is designed for students in undergraduate academic programs that have an interest in PT, OT, and AT. To qualify for this program your academic institution must be providing academic credit for your time.
Our teams supervise the student while assisting with appropriate activities in the clinic. This allows students to gain a more intimate understanding of the healthcare team and management of the rehabilitative process.
